Here is a compiled a list of the most frequent questions that individuals may have regarding services. It’s normal and encouraged for clients to ask many questions when choosing to work with a Licensed Mental Health Service Provider. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please get in touch.
How are therapy services delivered?
All therapeutic services offered by Coleman Counseling and Consulting PLLC are available via telehealth or in-person. While CC&C accepts clients from all parts of the state of North Carolina, the physical office location is based in Charlotte, NC. Consultation services under Athlete State of Mind and any other consultation services are also available via telehealth or in-person.
How much do services cost?
Therapy session rates for clients are dependent upon session time. There is a base rate for all therapeutic services which is the rate for traditional a 60 minute session. Consultation service rates are dependent upon the consultation need of the client and take into consideration various factors. Please contact our office for more information regarding service rates.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time Coleman Counseling and Consulting PLLC does not accept insurance. However, we will be accepting Blue Cross & Blue Shield of NC and Aetna in the near future. Currently, we have a base rate for all therapy services that can be paid via cash or debit/credit card.
How long does each therapy session take?
Therapy session times vary based on the needs of the client as well as client preference. Traditional therapy sessions typically last 60 minutes for individual sessions and 90 minutes for family sessions. Clients also have the option to choose 30 or 45 minute sessions but should be aware of the limitations of shorter sessions.
What consultation services do you offer?
Consultation services offered by Coleman Counseling and Consulting PLLC include mental health workshops, mental health trainings, psychoeducational speaking events, and more. Coleman Counseling and Consulting PLLC is open to exploring other mental health consultation services that fits the needs of any organization.
How is CC&C handling COVID-19?
In an effort to maintain social distancing protocols set forth by state legislature and providing comfortable therapeutic services to clients, Coleman Counseling and Consulting is currently only accepting tele-health appointments. We are hopeful that in-person appointments will resume soon but only when it is safe for our clients.
